Re: Collectable Music
My mum's collection rules. Every time I pop over for a match, I come with just a change of underwear and fill up with another batch of her vinyl. Slowly taking over the library before she pops her clogs, as she's been demanding for years.

We're talking original presses of loads of rare reggae, soul and funk, for the most part.

Fuck monetary value, it's all about the value of the library.

Gutting thing is, we had a lot of workmen in a year or so ago, and only many months after did we notice that loads of them were missing. No way of pointing a finger at the right person, so we have to just suck it up.

Still only realise what's missing when we actually look for it.

I curse the cunt's eyes ears and family, whoever took them.

It's amazing how vinyl has made a comeback. It nearly died out in the shops, but not quite , and now it's going strong. One of the only modern trends I'm happy about.

Don't have the album, but I was definitely there. I remember buying a Black Lace plectrum.

Yes I'm still as cool as I was back then.

I had never mind the bollocks 7 (?) track album with submission as a free 7" single . The b side was blank and the groves went the wrong way . One on e bay for just under 300 quid when I last looked.

Had "The Feeding Of The 5000" initial pressing where track one was two mins of silence called "The Sound Of Free Speach"

Doubt if that would be worth much tho.

My old guitar teacher used to work as a sound engineer in LA, he was in the studio one day and BB King was there. Without BB knowing, he "secretly" recorded what turned out to be his last few jamsfew jams a couple of days before he died. Still got the tapes somewhere, although he's a bit loathe to do anything with it. Especially as they were basically recorded illegally without BB's knowledge.

I have a first pressing of Never mind the bollocks that came with a poster. Probably not worth much as the album has been played a lot and the poster is a bit ragged.

Killing and Arab by the cure on Small Wonder records. That was worth abit but probably not so much now,

Re: Collectable Music
Crass was on small wonder records and they refused to press the album without the two mins of silence because of uk blasphemy laws .

Crass did it themselves and got a visit from uncle bill but no action was taken.

As a side note the common law blasphemy offences weree deleted from the statute books in 2008.

I've got a pristine copy of David Bowie's Man Who Sold The World dress cover 1971 on Mercury. Reckless Records offered me £200 but clearly they would be selling at a big profit.
